A Day Off in So Cal....

So, I had the day off and thought..... "what would Fabs do"?. Is that a scary thought OR WHAT?! After all I had finally lowered the rear, and I'm stoked with the new stance. It rides WAY better now. Got it polished up and drove down the street to Hole in the Fence beach by my house (Capo) and I snapped a few pics Fab's style. Not as good of a photographer as you Fabs! But here's my hunk.

P.S. it was bee-you-tee-ful day today.

Looking good!
Now you could have taken advantage of your day off and driven up to Lake Forest and taken me out to lunch!

Nice, Worm! Lookin' good, too. After you could've taken Rick out to lunch, you guys could've swung by Long Beach Harbor and taken me along. See you guys this Sunday... yes? Worm, are you in? Be really cool to see your 'Vert present.

........and can you believe the dumb weather man said it was going to rain today? Perfect So Cal day for a drive at the beach. Looks great WORM!! Next time if you're planning to pick up Rick for lunch and then driving to Long Beach to pick up FRED, you better plan to pick me up first. I'm the closest : )

Don't laugh, Lisa... it DID rain and pretty hard, at about 0500hrs. this morning. The other night, too. Full on lightning and thunder. So Scott's a lucky VW owner to have dodged the pockets of foul weather. Which is rather bizarre for June in So Cal.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure if you wanted me to share these but they are just too nice to keep to myself. Excellent work Mr. Speedwell. So very much appreciated I HAD to share.

Nice shots! Car looks real good, sits just right for a beach cruiser.
Nice work so far, and on a budget too. Refreshing to see that.
