Check out the linkage. Definitely a one off.

Is that your engine, Luke? If so, please share some details regarding it. What's the extra pulley for? Looks good.

No, not mine. From the other thread.

I've seen a guy around at the last few races with a Savannah Beige late model on original EMPI 8's, great looking "old school" car. Runs in the 12's. Anyway, he devised a nifty way of running the fan without using the engine to turn it... A small electric motor mounted off a bracket attached to the generator stand- Uses a vacuum cleaner belt that is easily slipped over the generator pulley and a rechargeable DeWalt battery behind the drivers seat powers the operation. Moves a fair amount of air, and is easily removed for street driving.

Did Rube Goldberg design that linkage? Does it brush your teeth and make you toast, then tie your shoes while making your coffee?
It looks waaayyy busier than it has to be.

No it does absolutely none of that. It does however perform the fine art of falashio quite well.
The car is owned by Paul Miller from Bakersfield CA, I think it is a 70 sedan, mostly original paint. 2276cc pushes consitant low 12's, and it's heavy. The only thing he does with out is the rear seat. Has some cool goodies, o.g. empi 8's, dds shifter, Race Trim Breather Box. The linkage and fan motor setup was made by Paul in his garage, I beileve all he has is an old lathe and a drill press, pretty innovated guy.

They must be plenty big to go 12.30s.
