I'd love to see what you started with and ulimately how they ended up. I am about to start on a Cal Look project so inspiartion would be great  Wink
My GT Beetle is not Cal Look but with it's 1835cc engine and the Cal Look stance it's getting shortly should keep me happy until my Cal Look is finished.

So lets see your before & after shots people  Smiley

As my Cal Look isn't ready I'll start with my friends '67 here in Ireland. Thankfully Ivan and the Volksworld team have given me a job as contributor and one of my first jobs was photgraphing and writing on this stunning Irish Cal Look.

Where did you find the new body skins for the front and rear quarters of this 67?

They were sourced through a supplier here in Ireland and are for a later car but were modified by Oliver (the owner) prior to final welding.

Here's another Irish based car. Originally restored and given the resto cal treatment by Foxy, a member of the Restowagen UK Forum. He did an amazing job of turning this rotten Marathon Bug into a show worthy resto cal. The car was then bought by Wayne McCarthy in Ireland and has now been given the Cal Look stance.

Before:

During:

After: (as a resto cal)

After: (now in Ireland and with a cal look stance)
