If only dragrace, why not raise the CR to 13-14;1? And change cam to a FK89 or a FK91, maybe even a FK98 with 1.4 rockers.
Just my 2 cents.

to be honest, i don't think you should, watching you drive fast through a crowd of people outside the gates of EBI truly worries me.

Probably not, but why would you?
My point is that you have to decide if you want to build a race engine or something in between. And when you say drag race only I pressume you want a race engine. Why would you build a engine for race only and not want to take it to the limit? Try to get as much out of it as absolutely possible.
98 octane have no use in a race engine except for cleaning parts.

That is a good combo . I do the same now , the smaller crank is better for use in an original case . And i never take a billet steel crank again . The forged Bugpack looks much stronger .

Steve get taken to hospital on the Friday as someone was doing dounts outside the main gate and crashed into his car, later i saw those 3 cars driving really close together, sparks at about 40-50mph, the crowd was only a few metres from it all, if one of them had to brake even more damage!. On Saturday night the police turned up to stop even more stupidty only to have stuff thrown at them. Sunday morning one of the EBI crew was rushed to hospital with broken legs as unfortunately someone's brakes failed and ran him over.
So no I didn't think it was cool, it was on the street and dangerous.

so,keep on topic pleasse.
i did some check ups and the combo 97X86 will not fit.
its gona be 94X84,i will keep posted and put some pics here, you can see the engine run@SCC.
i still don't know which cam/compr ratio i best use,i can change the inlet rockers to 1.4 but the outlet keeps 1.3. the heads stay the same A/F 48-38 titanium valves

I was there but they were hardly capable of keeping the road cleared..
Its these "happenings" that fuck it up for the rest of us...
i think if the cops see it, the organizers will have troubles for next years to organize in the future..
is that so hard to understand?

i think the cops see enough on sunday to cancel the show, the home made catapult shooting with apple on the copcar and hit,a big dent in the side! drinking alcohol and driving! that is not good for reputation!
keep on topic,if you want to discuse this scratching happening open your own topic.

To go off topic again, luckily for us the guy did have insurance but that's not the point, I don't care if the 'road was cleared' it's not big and it's not clever, things can happen and people get hurt. And yes it f'ing hurt. Grow up and keep the racing to the track..

Where was that originally posted? I've looked for hours on end after seeing it the first time and I can't find it.
