Bill, it was a style thing – flares were in fashion once. Like your shorts, OK. The difference is, flares will probably come back in fashion... Grin

This picture is by Tero (thanks!) and one of the few I have got of my car. A 1960 model built in 1996/97 and driven and driven ever since. Initially built with a 2100 ccm 48IDA Type ... ehm .... "not 1"-motor. Swapped to the world's most reliable 1915 the year after (thanks Kvikk Service!) and now a fresh 2170 is soon to go in, and that will be it for upgrades for da "Old Faithful".
