Just been clearing out a room here and came across some old T-shirts of mine. Thought you might like to see them before they disappear into the depths for a few more years! Smiley
First up - Auto Haus Westminster Tee...

Lonnie Reed's Headshop…

Mark Deacon's Red Rider polo shirt (we all kept waiting...)

Regular (and well worn!) Auto Haus Tee

Newport Beach VW Association

Dyno Don (he looks so young and handsom!)

Bug-In 20 and a Bug-In Hoodie

DKP II long-sleeved Tee

New in the bag Bug-In 28 and Dick Roy's VW Tees

Great stuff, Keith! Haven't seen one of those Westminster Auto Haus or Head Shop shirts in ages. At the last Bug-In held at O.C.I.R. I bought two event shirts... one that I wore and one that's still unused in the bag, like yours. Good to see others keeping that stuff.

I used to have one of the beige Lonnie Reed shirts. His shop was on my way to work when I worked at the BAP/Geon in Santa Ana. Used to stop in there often.

I hear ya, loud & clear, Nicolas. I've been wanting to print front/left pocket t-shirts for years. I still have many of 'em from the old days (surf, skateboard, VW, Porsche, aircraft, etc.). The reason that I don't is because most people don't care for them. Sometimes, you can still find the right color and size with the front pocket at the t-shirt vendors.

I agree, been on a pocket t-shirt kick myself for a while now.  That's what I love most about my Berg shirt—it has a pocket!  I like to imagine Gene writing the tech instructions saying "clearly we have found a shirt should have a pocket, unlike our competitors' shirts where this detail has been overlooked."

Anyone notice that the pic I used for the AHW t shirt is the same from the DRA T shirts.  I believe the pic has been posted here a couple of times.  I still have the original photo.  The DRA shirt was a high contrast photo version.  The AHW was a line art version that Bob Chapman did for me.  Still one of my favorite all time shots.  The cars in the pics were my split window and Frenchy's small window.  I'm thinking about resurrecting the picture in some form in the near future.
