Where would you sell it?
We got this fully built TURBO 912 engine in our workshop, and we want to sell it on. Its a 1720 with all the bells and whistles,  won best engine at BugRun in 99 and used only at special occasions since. Its fully, and I DO mean FULLY documented, and if the receipts is anything to go by, most of the parts must be made of gold!!
Who needs such a engine? Could be sold without the turbo stuff as a long-block.

This is the basics:

1720 ccm
86.04mm bore (original cylinders)
74mm stroke
Counterweighted crankshaft (balanced with flywheel and pressure-plate)
Rods are rebuilt and lightly polished
Camshaft is grinded for turbo use
Flywheel original is 180mm, but has been milled up to 200mm and lightened to SC spec.
7.93:1 compression
Shasta design/JE forged pistons (street version)
Rebuilt heads and internals
All new Elring gaskets
Everything that has been done is documented: bearing numbers, tolerances and calculations
Comes with the engine plate from the car

Engine data:
Engine number: 48989215
Case 616/xx number: 616/33-1
Case casting number: 120511
Case matching number: 743

Literature used:
Harry Pellow: Secrets of the inner circle + The Maestro`s Workshop Manual / The ABC of porsche engines.
Duane Spencer: 356 Performance Handbook
Autobooks: Porsche 356 Owners manual
