I need a ride from Sandjeford Airport to Gardermoen and back.

So we had a very cheap flight booked, but now w enoticed we are arriving in the wrong airport Sandjeford - Torp Airport in stead of Gardermoen . And guess what, not a single Rent-A-Car available anymore. So, is anyone going from direction Sandjeford to Gardermoen on Friday in the afternoon, we land approx. 14.00 hours.
And is anyone going in the reverse direction on Monday, we need to be in Sandjeford at approx. 9.30 hours in the morning.

And we are with 4

Any tips about local Rent-A-Car in the area of Sandjeford or Toensberg or nearby welcome!!

there is a train service, if you get stuck.

From Oslo and Skien
Passengers arriving at Sandefjord Airport Torp by railway are transported by shuttle bus the last few kilometers from the platform to the airport (approx.4 min.). The bus service runs in connection with the train and is included in the price. The bus arrives at the airport 42 times a day. From 04.42 first arrival from Skien in the morning until 22.55 in the last arrival in the evening. Reduced service at weekends. The service is operated by NSB. http://www.nsb.no/?lang=en_US

This is a help, but it is an option we already knew. This is our back-up plan, problem is that it takes almost 2 and a half hours...

the drive isn't much quicker!  I was lucky and got picked up last year.

There is a bus service as well which is cheaper at around 180 NOK pr person. The bus will take 1h 50min to Oslo Central station. You can choose if you would to take a bus further to Oslo Gardermoen or the airport express train. From the airport the SCC taxi will pick you up.
