Just wanted to say thanks to all the Deeks for their hospitality at Graig Park today.... you guys and gals really outdid yourselves! DKK was kind enough to extend an invitation to DKP to join their group for a Sunday BBQ at the park and it was quite a success. There was plenty of Mark Ramirez's grilled carne asada and hot dogs along with refrieds and rice.... plus large quantities of home made baked goods. To top it all off, it was Worm's birthday!! From the Spy Cam.....

It was an extremely cool afternoon. We had a blast.... nothing better than great times with great people, great food, and great cars.
And it couldn't be a DKK event without the local PD showing up.
What was very cool is that we had three of the six known surviving DKK cars there. Manny's 53 oval, Juniors Square Bee and Greg Brinton's '67.
I know I hadn't seen Juniors Squareback since the early eighties and it looks as sweet now as it did then!

I'm glad I was there to personally witness that the whole picnic was a film , faked by Hollywood on the Moon. We even fooled the Japanese satellite that took pictures of us. This is why those three Police cars full of Cops didn't arrest us. We weren't actually there, just a film of us eating all that great food, that was also faked by Hollywood , on the Moon.

Looked like a really good time... Now... more about the Police please They were not real police Dave. Mack Sennett sent them over from a neighboring studio for lunch. The officers "took five" from their upcoming movie "The Keystone Cops Go To The Moon"

I'm happy you were impressed,We have used these police officers in the past, on other events like the DKK coastal cruise.

Ok true story... let me couch this with the knowledge that my wife's eyesight isn't very good without her glasses. Sue saw Carlos walking by and knowing that there was the possibility of Mark's sons joining us, she asked if Carlos was one of Mark's sons.
