Newbie from Texas...

Hello from Texas..!!..i see a bunch of names from the CLF from the U.S.A..on this site which seems a million miles away..!!!!!..what a great big world we share.!!!!..just thought i would drop in..and say HI and thanks..!!!..thanks for keeping it growing and getting stronger day by day.!!!!...you have some awsome CAL-LOOK cars and race cars..!!!!..i'am a 70's freak.!!!!..to know a VW bug was roaming the streets of CAILFORNIA in the late 60's & 70's,, and picking off some of Detroits "BIG THREE" gives me goosebumps.!!!!!,..and then it to bleed into drag racing..and have cars like LIGHTING BUG,,,,DEANO DYNOSOURS,,,INCH PINCHER,,RACE SHOP GHIA....is just mind blowing..!!!!...what's even wilder is to see alot of the old gassers being bought and ship to your lands and keeping the spririt alive.!!!!!,,take the Kieth Goss chopped show winning bug..,,the "RACE SHOP" ghia,"SNOPPY"gasser (you do not know how close i came to buying this one!!),up to a modern day Mark Herbert's(RIP) "SUPER SHIT BOX"..I know there is alot i missed and cannot recall at this time,,but it;s nice to know that there is a bunch of us worldwide that have to keep this hobby going!!!..stronger and better each and every year..THANKS AGAIN....Mitch Pullen....

my fav..
..!!!!...Roman i have seen this brought up before...the car is on your land now right..!!!..the reason i remember the late Mark Herbert was in on the discussion about it was a all steel car and how the P/T cars was the most exciting racing out there..but i think the car has alot of fiberglass panels now? ...still one of my favorite....thanks for the picture...

It has a one piece glass fibre front end etc, you wouldn't recognize it if you saw it.

Don't know what it is about that car but it is awesome. Would have loved to see it pounding it's way out of the box when it was full steel.
So this is a now oficially a blue Bug thread then huh?
