Leif showed his new car for the first time this weekend. He broke an axle in the first run and was close to cut the tree, but it all went OK.
It looks promising!

Was he able to swap the broken axle and get a full run? Hope to see it in person at SCC!

i heard that he orderd some sisu axels now but he didnt get the lifetime warranty like everywone else, wonder why =).
The engine isnt the biggest, i think around 2,4l as leif wants to drive as ofen as he gets the chans. The car runs in the competition class at regular drag events and the engine is built after the weight/cc to fit in. Dont know the numbers but its wery powerful.
I dont think he will atend scc because the car hasnt been run in yet and therse an event in sundsvall much closer to werwe leif lives the same weekend.

Leif,

Their was once a Guy that drove about 1600km to SCC wit his race car on the trailer without running a single meter, arrived @ Scc he had some technical problems, he removed his engine, opened the gearbox (with help from many Scandinavian people) fixed it, ran a 10.88  and went home with €500.

Even if you didn't tested your car, why should you come over, its only once a year SCC, you can do it their, if their is a problem, I promise that I will help you to fix it  Smiley

I really would appreciate if you would be there, and I guess I'm not alone.

So, its a deal?

If it is really necessary I even will race against you  Cry

Thx.

Sven.

good luck with getting it running properly and all the new car issues sorted,I am assume its swingaxle? given that most of the world suffers broken axles in swingaxle cars why arent more being built IRS ?  did you consider it at all for this car?  just interested Smiley

Green racecars are nice  Wink ! This is a very nice one .... good luck with it . And racing in competition is very strong racing . The index times here in Germany for example would not work for a bug. It is better to race in supergas , supercomp or much better is superproet

No, he never attended, but he was at the starting list though. I haven't been in contact with him, so I don't know why. I guess he never got the new axles in time.
