If you can't drive to work in it, then I think its a race car.

Here we go again, it's been discussed lots of times before and it's a hot subject...
More or less Alien, add carpeting and headliner, pump gas, no cutting and gutting to save weight and you should be able to be stopped by the cops without a ticket. And of course driving it to work.
The roll cage has to be there for safety reasons and when the cage is there, the back seat has no purpose.

What happens if you loose your jobb? Has your callooker become a racecar?
(you asked for it)

So when you put race fuel in your Cal-Look car it suddenly is no longer a Cal-look car?

It was just too easy, I just had to write it...
If we answer the original question: when is it a cal-look, and where has it been a race car?
Does it has to be one of them? Can't it be both? Or even Race car, cal-look and street car.
Like the kinder eggs... someting sweet and a toy... and a surprise!

What about racing in a street car?
I have taken my 'street car' up the quarter mile many times, so many since the start of the 90's I can't even remember how many. So let's say more than 40 times - a lot more.
So surely it's a street car that's a race car that's really a street car that has raced both on the strip and street (Although, obvioulsy, it's NEVER raced on the street, officer.)
In a word 'confusing'
What about this to make matters worse...
Can you tell me what VW Beetle based 'race car' you have ever seen was once a 'street car'?

The red line is where the rods come out of the case without a spanner.

always when I read topicks like this one
I'm more certen that Poland is a haeven for cal-look beetels
(exept that licence plate on front
) you can use T-bars, have engine as big as you wont IDAs, FI, Turbo, NOS, lovered and narrowed beems, dropped spindels, hard kore renk ... (no slicks and no stinger... but its obvious why not...) and you can have almost everything if youre friend is ovner of MOT service
non of my beetles which I owe had a typical MOT test... jus 30 secounds a stamp on my papers... and thats it.
by the way I've got '69 shpare kafer (the chipest and porest version) and I don't wont to put wide 5 disc brakes to have BRMs only wanna buy 4 lug BRMs do you think thats not cal-lookish? (I like the look of those 4 lug BRMs)
oh and talking about that red line... in my opinion cal-look must ba daylie drive car
as it was from that first "white" one...
