No. I was talking about Guillaume Bendler from France.

Maybe Tim has also some DDS 13" ready to bolt on?

Yes - I have a close-up side view of the car, complete with 'New Jersey' signwriting…

Run by Kessel's VW Service of Monroeville, New Jersey. Driver Jack Kessel, mechanic Art Kessel, owner Tony Kessel. Smiley

Some Google'ing leads to Kessel Nursery in Monroeville, and a Jack Kessel still involved with VWs (not necessarily related).  Might not be hard to get on a trail.

Hi guys, I,m new to this forum, a friend of mine pointed it out to me. The Screamin Zonker (my car & driver) was out of Monroeville, NJ and owned by Jack & Art Kessel.

I was looking at the Gasser Forum and seeing some of the old race cars brings back a lot of memories, I'm glad I found the forum.

I saw some posts by Bill Mitchelle, does anyone  know if this is the Bill of Motion Minicasr in NY? Raced with Bill a few times at Atco, NJ, I think he was H/G and I was I/G if its the same person.

I'm 71 now and still playing with and loving VWs.  Grin
I want to look at more of the photos in the Gasser forum, great job posting all of them.

Jack, welcome to the dark side..... Do you have the original print of that winner circle photo from the '72 SummerNationals? If so, I would like to get a better scan of it, so I can work with it in Photoshop, to create a better image.. Thanks, Dean/ Hot VWs magazine

P.S. And, no, not the same Bill Mitchell of Motion Performance.
