Well Louis, you're probably right.. but the kid seemed to have it well under control! He was able to blip the throttle as needed... kept his wheels straight... and you can bet EVERY one of his friends have seen that video
I built my kids a full size sand rail for Christmas 1989... I'm sure Rayburn remembers it well. JSC two seat frame, 1776 w/ Zenith, IRS, close ratio gearbox... it was nothing (obviously) like the kids Dad's sand rail ~but~ even at the tender ages of SIX and EIGHT, both of my boys were able to ~safely~ drive that car on nearly every trail the adults went on...
Personally, I liked it better than ATC's or Quads... much safer.
OK, Back to the film... I bet that was not the first time for that kid behind the wheel!
