just a quick question about the lights

am i suppoed to be able to use the flasherlights when the lights are not on? i thougt so like on a newer car. but mine dont work.

i can use the flasher fine when the lights are on but not when they are out. the relais clicks but nothing happens. checked diagrams but everything looks fine.

maybe i am missing something...

sorry about the topic i know it isn't really a cal-look topic, but i have been working on it for the better part of the weekend insted of getting work done on the rest of the car.

thanks

its a 67 squareback. what i understand of it is that it needs electricity from two sources and it only has one when the lights are off. so maybe that is why you can't flash at pedestrians when they try to cross the street and you come full trotle driving over their shoes.  Grin Grin Grin

1967s had a one-year-only relay system...

yes.... that is part of the reason i posted it here. 67 cars are prtty common on this site and maybe people here have more expertise on he matter...

i got all the right parts and relais so i guess that should work, but i am not that sure about it all.

thanks for the help allready
