I my opinion the pump pulls the oil out of the engine and into the breather box . I tried to find a mistake but could not find it. I think there is something wrong , and the engine did not make the right power. But it looks like they hopefully found something at igmition and turbo...

I think this was a good idea . Udo I dont agree, and if the engine was set up for a vacuum pump[light tension rings] the surely it will cause more harm removing it unless you change soem things inside as well?. There are obviously other problems causing the issues, car looks good though Good luck getting it to run well and fast cheers richie,uk

the problem I have with the vaccuum is when the engine take rpm, oil goes out through the pump roll, the engines seems to stop and the belt breaks. Since I removed it the engine seems better. I hope you understand what I wrote …

from what i was told, if your pump was sucking oil its becuase the motor wasnt sealed up very well... so it must have had a leak somewhere....
And like Richie said... If the motor was setup for it, not having it now you will need to adjust for it...

you should only see a leak when running without the vacuum pump, when its fitted it will create enough vacuum to stop any oil escaping and collect it into the breather box cheers richie
