My repro 36hp fan housing does not have the nuts for the original coil mount welded in. Will the berg linkage work with only two bolts?
How did you guys solve the problem?

Get Thread inserts in the fan housing. Expensive but a clean look.

You might also find that when using some repro 36hp fan shrouds, and the Berg linkage, is that the upper two generator backing screw holes are not even level, which makes bolting up the Berg linkage almost impossible (the linkage is no longer level with the engine). Something to think about.... Go Thing fan housing.

You can slot the holes for the linkage mount as well.

Use pop rivet threads JS, easy... or weld a nut in there.

deano, the linkage that i have is already modified in the center hole to fit the repro fanhouses.
