This past Tuesday our # 2 Grand Daughter Violette was born at 8:15 PM 4/20/2010 in Arizona and weight 5 pounds and a few ounces. She had to stay in the hospital until Thursday morning. As a family ritual we brought all of kids from the hospital including my Grand Daughters in a Volkswagen. Got home in the afternoon on Thursday everything look well until we received a phone call from one of the doctor that they needed to see Violette ASAP.  They found that she had a very rare case of Leukemia the only one to be known in Arizona ever especially in  new born infant  As of today they are going to operate on her and do a blood transfusion and to start kemo therapy on Monday and she will be monitored by a lots of doctors which have never seen a case as this one so we all know that she is in good care. In result to this I will not be attending the Bug In next weekend which also is the first one I will be missing since Bug In 5. Thank You to everyone for your prayers and I will see everyone at the next event depending on the result of Violette conditions.

*Update* We have printed out this whole discussion and will show them all your kind words!

If you would like to send a card to Marc, Tanya, Big sister Jacqueline & Baby Violette we'll pass it along to them.

Aw... that's sad. We shall lift Violette up in prayers and keep some positive thoughts/hopes going her way, Frenchy. By the way, that's a really cool girls' name.

I'm thinking of her too Frenchy. Kids are incredibly fragile but at the same time incredibly resilient.

I can honestly say that I do know what you're going through and I wish you the very best, through what will be the begining of a hard time for all your family and loved ones.

My own daughter Laura was born at 25 weeks and only 3lbs 2oz.. She is now a strong and stroppy 18 year old..

My prayers are 100% with you all at this time.
