T1 spring and retainer is also an option?

I use type 1 HD single springs from Aircooled.net on my TypeIV/914 2.0L

Or perhaps you can get type IV HD springs from pelican parts, Jake Raby, FAT, EMW etc. etc.?

If you can set the springs up some where close to 1.500 installed height, our VW650 spring is the best qaulity VW diameter spring on the market.

Thanks Pat. I'm picking a set up for my 94  x 78. When I get the 914 motor, I'll look @ spring height. If you see Baya tell her I said hello
