some salt water will help give the aged look

Have a look at my topic on my 66, I have used some sort of rubber coating with very nice results.

Wait for a hot day, Set the wheels in the sun right before spraying and hardly use any reducer. Do a sample first

I have 2 sets.
One I used hammerite on a hand polished rim which has a stipply effect and sticks welll.
The other I used scotch brite to dull the rim and mixed 2 types of paint (hammerite and normal rattle can paint which then crackled and veined...looks quite pleasing with slicks.

I got a couple of cans of wrinkle paint in a shop specialized in MG, mini and old english car parts in Belgium, so I guess that'll be even easier to find in the uk..

is exactly what i planned to do mine
thanks to fabs aswell for pointing out where there dots should go too!
but need to get the rest of the paint off!
any idea where yellow nitromors can be bought?
