Question: do all genuine 4.5in Fuchs have date stamps and/or serial numbers stamped on the back? I read on the net that some have no numbers whatsoever.

There are never any serial numbers on any Fuchs.

Some early Fuchs don't have date codes.

Correct.

I have one pair of early Fuchs that have no part number, no Fuchs logo, no size, just the date.

The wheels I have that are missing all the numbers are early 7R Fuchs.  7/67 and 9/68.
