i'm in process to buy RACE-TRIM valves cover and i've already have RACE-TRIM short manifolds , and i  would like to know if there's a black color  which gives the same finish as those RACE-TRIM air boxes

 and the picture below

i know that there's a similar topic , but don't find him

Here's what I use  Krylon #3370 works great

Here's the only picture I have of my intakes painted, but you can see what it looks like, I had to sand it off to make the intakes fit different tin...but you get the idea

the speedwell  linkage had the same treatment , mine is a repro  and don't have the original treatment but ,  i've reproduced that finish with  3M antigravillon ,it's gravel protection with a special texture like the RACE-TRIMm finish
 So far I haven't had problems with the heat of the engine, it hold on my linkage, but on manifold it will hold  too Huh

I use the Krylon stuff. 3 coats, about 5 minutes apart, then wait 10 minutes and hit it with the heat gun. It works on Slinger's valve covers, so I'm sure it will work on intake manifolds.
