Thanks guys ... I'm VERY excited to be SO LUCKY! I haven't been able to find my originals for a few years. Cool thing is these have a large flange too.
Just need to find a way to get the decal off intact before I run them ... probably have them coated in black before permanence, saving the chrome of course.

Nothing exciting yesterday. Just a big box of window rubber for my 68 Camper. Scored it off E Bay for cheap. I should be getting my Berg shifter for the same Bus today.

Pulley shim kit (not for fan belt, but to space out the gen/alt pulley and crank pulley), gen/alt strap and some more German fuel hose...

Going OUT in the mail today are my 45 DRLAs, which need work done on them at ACE by Art Thraen!

Thanks, it has C E heads (S. Tims) w/ CB manifolds and 51.5s spaced up 8mm to clear the alt. Basically its an older purpose built bracket racer that I'm making street drivable..sorta.  Grin

Hi Phil, nice setup, what stacks are those, I'm assuming they clear the deck lid?

Thanks, the stacks came with the car when I bought it. So your guess is as good as mine. I did have to trim the Bugpack/tayco linkage castings to fit
around the stacks. Unfortunately with the raised trans nothing fits as far as sealing the engine compartment, so I approach it as if it was a baja bug.
I'm sure some eyes will roll when they see how I mounted the remote oil cooler  Grin

Phil,
Sweet!
So, are you running decklid standoffs?
How'd you get the stacks to clear/not interfere with the decklid?
Thanks,
TxT

Standoffs top and bottom...strictly a fair weather car. As it sits it's missing a few things... pan seal, wiring harness, wiper asm. DOT tires, ear plugs  Grin
