I purchased my car from Val-Stream Volkswagen in 1974 and never got a frame. The dealership closed a few years later and it wasn't till 1992 that I started looking for one. Finally after 20 year, I have one.
Congrats! That is awesome! I picked up a "WARD" frame a couple of years ago and through research determined that the dealer may have been in the Carolina's or possibly Virginia. Unfortunately, they're long gone and I haven't found any more frames. I think its great you got yours!  |

Same case, no reason not to reuse it.
The rebuild was mostly due to noisy bearings, broken spider gear teeth and update the oiling and breather.
