I purchased my car from Val-Stream Volkswagen in 1974 and never got a frame. The dealership closed a few years later and it wasn't till 1992 that I started looking for one. Finally after 20 year, I have one.

Congrats!  That is awesome!  I picked up a "WARD" frame a couple of years ago and through research determined that the dealer may have been in the Carolina's or possibly Virginia.  Unfortunately, they're long gone and I haven't found any more frames.  I think its great you got yours!   Cool

Same case, no reason not to reuse it.

The rebuild was mostly due to noisy bearings, broken spider gear teeth and update the oiling and breather.

Glen, just curious how many miles you have on that puppy.  I have done all that you had done a while ago. Had spider gears going as well.
