Its just a plastic liner they used to protect the rim of the wheel while being shipped. The others have been put aside for the photo. They are 100% cherry virgins! |

They were originally owned by a guy that had a print shop back east; then they made there way to Orange County. Then they went overseas and now they are in my collection. The End. |

I wonder if they were the ones dee berg sold for 15k because those went overseas, you could run them but on a set of wheels like that the difference between nos and used could be as much as 5k... |

Distributor bushing drift. Found this on ebay, didn't know they made one. Sure beats the old way I R&R'ed the bushings. |

Built gearbox ready for more Hp and in the meantime easier shifting and less noise with the tuned 36hp than the old split case! |

I got 2 of those very rare Empi / Lee Eliminators 1971 poster announcing when Inch Pincher and The Race Central bus were in town.
I framed one, and will probably sell the other one.

They hold two adjacent panels together during mock-up and before tacking. The flat part that goes through the middle of the square block also goes between the two panels.
Richard, I now finally have some Type III backing plates, yay! Could you please put up a link or PM as to where you got your brake spring kit?

That's the one.  1302/3/superbeetle front.   However check before you order as some have one long spring for the bottom rather than 2 short.   Richard |
