Well lets see it mounted.

I'm not really in the mood to take my locking shifter apart so maybe I will put it on my spare 4 speed shifter just to see how it looks.

Doesn't everybody have a Berg 5 speed?

Got a call from Kathy from Berg yesterday about my shifter order. Seems they forgot to polish the t-handle I ordered and it would be several weeks before they will make another run. So now I am getting a Berg 5 shifter w/ one of those early finger grip handles they have on the Samba.  Grin

Now I just need the five speed tranny to go under it.  Wink

I think you are right, it is bigger.  The ball is 2 1/4 inches in diameter.  It is also much heavier than I would have imagined.

By all means get one.  I bought mine back in April of '96.  They were a lot cheaper back then.

it is Powdercoat. Too bad my accessory color scheme is silver hammertone. Otherwise I would leave it gold. Actually looks pretty good.

If I had one of the 5 in. O-Bergs I would buy a couple of extra screens as they have been difficult to find in the past.  I only have the 6 in. size so I have never had a problem finding them although they are pricey.  Sounds like a good deal on the screens and the filters to me!

I also have such an exhaust lying around. Only is it made for 30 bhp (36hp) engines and the exhaust flange is horizontal?
Is that also an EMPI Buggy exhaust?
