At my last inspection I replaced my stroker engine with a stock one, just in case they were a bit picky. The inspection man (about 60 years old) laughed at all the go fast parts and a stock engine.
-"Whow cool, a line lock!"
-"Oh, so you just plugged those dual AN-8 fuel lines and went with the stock line?"
-"Does a stock engine REALLY need a MDS ignition and a 3" muffler

". The comments were constantly with a smile on his face.
I only got one remark, it was for one of the link pins that wasn't 100% adjusted.
He asked how much the REAL egine had.
-"200+" I responded quickly with a big grin on my face.
-"Cool! If you have 200+ hp you want that link pin to be perfect so I'll scratch the remark, he responded."
-"And next time, don't change the engine, I want a test ride" he shouted through the roar of the 1600 through a 3" pipe when I left the station.
