Wow! That sounds awesome Christian! You will not be disappointed with a Pat Downs' built motor!
You not going EFi then?

No ill start with Geers Terminators and take it from there, I need a littel more time to get into the EFI.
So maybe next seson, if not other projekts have turned up.
There is alot of reading and adjusting with the EFI until it fit the engine, and that time I don't have at the moment, so ill just go and have some fun next summer
But like we talked about it defently better and much more pricese.

Any estimates on horsepower? I mean, maybe CB Performance has built similar engines in the past and could estimate the power output? Would you like to PM me the price range of the engine (if you don't want to disclose it here)?
Thanks,

Look at Pat`s car and you will get a estimate of how many HP the engine should be able to produce on a good day - in America.

His heads flow 365cfm @25" through the manifold at .800 lift. At .600 they flow 325cfm.

Beetlebug, You can ask Christian anything about his engine, I'm not at liberty to talk about it unless he wants me to. I only clarified the flow of his heads because I saw that he posted a flow number on them.

And this is how my gearbox is right now.. changing the 4th gear so it will fit the new engine, and im refreshing the Pro-ring as well.
And the car is having a new 5" narrowed beam insted of the 4" beam that where on it, because after changing the brakes to the spindel mounted the wheel bse became to wide and I had problems with turning without damaging the flipfront, so its now down to its org wheelbase.

Udo, When using a Pauter block, you want the rod bolts on the cap end of the rod. This way, you can R&R the rod bearings without tearing the engine down. All you do is remove the top plate on the block to gain access to the rods. Also, the cam is .250 dropped in a Pauter Block.

Christian, It looks like those sliders are getting pretty worn. You might consider cleaning them up or replacing them before the gearbox goes back together.
