I noiticed that to but i have a bad pc monitor now i am confirmed , they are topped off coused by mis shifting .
ill recommend that you look carefully at that dogteeths and grind them to the correct angle.
And if they are to far gone you need to replace them

And this is how my gearbox is right now.. changing the 4th gear so it will fit the new engine, and im refreshing the Pro-ring as well.

And the car is having a new 5" narrowed beam insted of the 4" beam that where on it, because after changing the brakes to the spindel mounted the wheel bse became to wide and I had problems with turning without damaging the flipfront, so its now down to its org wheelbase.

Christian, It looks like those sliders are getting pretty worn. You might consider cleaning them up or replacing them before the gearbox goes back together.

That is also why its taking apart had the pro-ring grinded just befor chrismas, so that schould be under control.

So im waiting on the 4th gear that Adele and Steve are bringing home from Rancho.

Got some new parts for the car, a stef's drysump and a new 4th gear and a new Autometer tach

And the new Stef's drysump came in raw alu, and I had to make it fit all the other alu parts in the car.... POLISHED..

And im also getting my gearbox together so I can get the car back on it's wheels and ready.

Very sorry to hear the engine blew, but that DS tank is wonderfull!
It seems to contain all the right features for a properly done DS tank.
What will the new engine consists of? (besides being build by Pat from CB  Wink)

As always, very nice! But I notice two things: very long intake channels in combination with a short exhaust. That's interesting.
