My vote goes for Bill's '59....this photo was taken in 2007 when Bill kindly took me on a tour during my only visit to California, when my family and I stopped over whilst emigrating from England to New Zealand.
Thanks
Richard

Times two on that, Jason. After looking at the forum index and seeing this thread title... I smiled and envisioned Bill's gorgeous Coral Red car. I never get sick of seeing it. Plus, it's cool to see what my roommate's old car could have looked like as a Cal Looker.

Never seen the green car before and sorry in advance... but a set of Cal Look wheels would complete it.

 Grin

I still say Bill's red car wins... hands down.

First time I ever saw Bill's car in the flesh was at the 1991 Rose City Bug-In in Portland, oregon, and then also at the 1991 Seattle Bugnationals at what was then called Seattle International Raceway.  I think back then it had a 1776 with DCNFs??  I know for sure it didn't have IDAs at the time, but I was thrilled to see a real Cal Look car in person at the time, as I was only 14 years old and lived vicariously through the magazines. Sorry, Fabian... I'd rather have stock wheels over those.

Ted, where did you find that pic of Bill's car that I took at Nick's? Someone decided to remove my watermark. Typical poachers. HA!

who's Bill?

In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth. And the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And God said, "Let there be light:"  And there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Since that moment a few things have taken place, Nicolas... but rest assured, Bill is in there, too. The rest, as they say... is history, such that it is.

For God's sake, Dave, I told you not to mention the clone! Now Bill will guess how we took a DNA sample five years ago at Classic and grew a new Billmobile in a secret lab in Tijuana.  Angry
