Nice finish One Q though: It looks like youre planning on more than 50 hp in the rear. Why then rely on mediocre shocks T

Nice job Chris. Those rears appear to be GR 2's which are fine unless you are taking the car to the strip often. I did dozens of 1.6-1.7 60 fts with stock Boge's. I would put proper bolts on the wheel cylinders though. Whats the plan for the shell?

I had the GR2's so I used them. It's a street car 100% not much interest in going racing so I think they will be fine. After I figure out ride hight I may do a set of Koni's.
The shell is staying the same as the time you saw it in Canada. I need to get Gary to finish out the interior and then call it done. It's going to be my summer daily driver.

Thanks for the complements guys,
Geoff, no GCVWS this year for me just not in the cards. I would like to get the car dialed and drive up there late September, we will see.

Could you please elaborate your opinion? I actually use both types, on two cars, but as their configuration is different, it's hard for me to compare them.

Switching from GR-2's to Koni's in the front of my car made a world of difference. I now run them all the way round, I love how they feel compared to a gas shock.

Not a big fan of Gasburners... but yours are the rare exception. They look perfect on your car, Chris. That's the best looking finish for those, methinks.
Congrats on your car... it's really nice.

As far as front axle is concerned, I agree. I had them there and I replaced them.

awesome, my cup of tea all the way! is that a bus master cylinder you're using?
and how did you fab the tunnel inspection plate? did you open it up for a smaller cavity and then tap for the allen bolts?

It is a bus master cylinder and you are right about the cover.
