We are about 1 month away from the BIG ONE, and I was just checking in to see who is coming to all of the events this year.  Would love to put faces with names.

Lanny, it would be especially cool to meet you as I have only ever spoken to Darren! (We are the UK distributor for LanD!)

My daughter graduates College that day, so we will probably have to skip it.  Shes really bummed about not taking her car this year and seeing all the others too.

Since this thing has gotten out of hand, and now Keith owns my car, if I can get his permission I would like to do the following:

1 - Give everyone a chance to drive it.  Wink

2 - Weld a tow hitch to my traction bar and hook up a tram tralier to give 40 -50 people rides through the Classic all day long !  Cheesy

The lines might look like this, but please be patient.     Just as long as eveyone has fun !  Grin

Perhaps you could charge for the rides.  For example anyone wanting a ride has to polish the chrome on your wheels or shine the mirrors under your car display.  Grin

Is it true that your display will look like this one?

Dave you keep forgetting that it is powdercoat on the wheels - you can't plate mag!   You are welcome to wipe them down though!

As far as the display goes -yep, that is exactly it except I added a smoke machine this year !

Actually, I was thinking that you should build a boxing ring around your car for your Classic display.   Wink

This will be a total thread hijack to annoy Corny,  Re:  Barris Customs  I was driving down a residential  street near where I grew up in OC.  It was by my High School & I have been down this street many ,many times in the past 30 or so years. Anyway we were driving by a guy working on a nice model A p/u roadster in his driveway & back in the garage I caught a glimpse of green. I knew exactly what it was from the color & I nearly crashed the car,my wife thought I had lost my mind. I backed up to get a better look & I was correct.  It was the Barris  Hirohata Merc. I was so excited I could'nt stand it ,but I did'nt want to bug the guy,so we continued off around the corner to our friends house. When I got there I told him what I saw & he already knew it was there ,he had been there @ a yard sale. He told me to go back & talk to him so I did.  He was totally cool ,we stood & talked in his driveway for about 2 hrs from everything to the Merc to old bicycles he had around. I had 1st read about that it still existed in Street Rodder mag. probably about the time I was riding my skateboard to school in the 70's & there it was the whole time. Oh yeah I will probably show up to the Classic.  Later Bill
