What an amazing trip.  EBI was better then expected.  I would highly recommend anyone interested in vintage performance to circle your calendar and find a way to be in Chimay the last week of June 2013.

Kobus,
Your event is truly a fine oiled machine.  Thank you for the world class hospitality.  EBI truly surpased my expectations.  The EBI team has found a way for all VW folks to get-a-long for three days and nights.  I think next EBI I may need to spend the night at the track to truly understand.

Russell,
Thank you for trusting me to drive some of the truly classic Cal-look cars in VW history.  If I can ever return the favor or be of any assistance please don't hesitate to ask.

SCC/Mags/Pat's VW/ DKG/ Fab/ and Frank thank you for showing me a great time.  If you're ever in Southern Cal make sure you look me up so I can return the favor.

Ron, Paul, and Mark,
I enjoyed hanging out and being the fly on the wall hearing all of the Gasser bench racing and car history.

Deano and Keith,
Thank you for covering the event with passion that will show in your event coverage and photo's.

Lastly,
A special thanks to Sue and Allen Wiess for planning most of the trip and dealing with Emily and I for almost two weeks in four countries (May I help you?).

Thanks Fab- I think that's a Majito or US dollars because they're worthless in Europe.

Troy and Emily,

We had a great time traveling with you after a minor adjustment of prepping oursevles for the in car war cries! Thanks for keeping the driver and copilot well feed during our numerous excursions using the in car pantry.

However... your skills of backing Allen up into a tight spot in Amsterdam, leaves a little to be desired.

FYI,
The DONGER is now at my house in my garden.
