It seems a bit quiet on the Lounge so I thought I'd submit some more of my recently found photos.  These are of Jim (Sarge) Edmiston on his wedding day, July 19, 1969 which is the day before the Moon landing.  I hope he doesn't mind me sharing them with you all.  This may not be considered a Cal-Look subject, but the man certainly is and this is some of his important history.

The first one is Jim's parents and his sister Mary Ann along with their dog in the family back yard.

Shoes in hand Jim leaves the family digs as a single man for the last time.  The second photo is him sitting in my folks house waiting for the clock to kick down.  We didn't offer him a "last meal".    Wink Wink Wink

The final two photos of this series.  Mary Ann and her boyfriend at the church in the first shot.  The second is the interior of the Church which is located on Broadway and Citron Streets in Anaheim.  This is the same Church Christie and I were married in 25 months later.

In closing I'd state that it was an honor to be the Best Man and I'm proud to say that we've maintained the friendship going on five decades.

I know the very next day I was glued to the TV watching Walter Cronkite comment on the Moon Landing all day.
I bet Sarge will be quite surprised when he sees this !
