JPM, REV and Autocrafts are good choices I think. The new Autocrafts looks really nice and thick.

I just bought the Revmasters.
I had them machined at Jaycee's to my length. They look good and fit the case great!
They also seem to have a uniform thickness all the way down the cylinder compared to the Mahle's.
Mahle
They are also 19mm at the top where as the Mahle's are almost 16mm
But....
You can see in this photo that the top of the cylinder is thicker than the Mahle that is next to it.
This makes it not fit in my fancy head so well....
I will have them trimmed to fit the heads as I don't want to make these expensive heads only fit these cylinders.
They look great otherwise and they just need some extra attention that I did not expect.

These are the same dimensions as a Cima cylinder, but AA does have a similar cylinder with a 96.7 top (4.100 diameter).
Here one next to a standard cylinder

I have a set of AA long barrels, but I have now got a raised deck case so they will not be needed. Check that you will actually need them.

Lids,
not necessarily true, depending on what stroke and rod length you use you may need to deck the case some and still use them[long barrells],if its a short rod on a reasonable stroke,84mm say, then the cylinder may not support the piston properly at BDC,this is the main disadvantage I have seen with the CB ally case with raised deck, the piston comes out the end of the barrell and is in the raised deck area which doesnt support it now,it all depends on the combo, just another thing to check
cheers richie
