The Volvo driver commented that he didn't expect my Beetle to be that quick! Mid-14's is respectable but not earth shattering! |

Personally, I find more enjoyment out of just being beaten fair and square. There's something about the feeling of losing a well-run race on both sides for me, knowing that neither driver is giving an inch to the other. I'm still surprised at how many people have never seen a low 15 second bug! It's always fun to see who comes up to you in the lanes before your second pass to see "what the hell is in that thing?" |
