This beer tasted better in Tibet than it do's here.  Oh well, it's a sin to pour out drinkable beer.....isn't it?

John it was in the fridge when I got home last night the wife picked it up. Don't think it was more than 4 bucks . The old guardian looks yummy.   I have been drinking more stone lately as it is "ok" and pretty cheap. Payday is this week though time for something better.

They used to be pretty cheap up here in Oregon but now they are $5 for there regular IPA and $7.59 for the Ruination, Imperial Stout and Old Gaurdian. I think the Ruination would still be a great beer if it was still around $4 like most of the comparable DIPAs.

Monti Garbi Ripasso 2007 from Veneto Italy. Tastes of fruits and cherries with a round and spicy tone.
Should work with various dishes but also very enjoyable on it's own.  Grin

I'm going to see if my local wine store can get me a couple. The strongest I've had was a sip of 2005 Sam Adams Utopias (25% ABV) at $300.00-550.00 USD a bottle and then a 2007 Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA (21% ABV) at $10 a 12oz bottle.

Getting a little carried away with a $500+ bottle for me.  The nuclear penguin looks cool though but even with that maybe a nice Jack and Coke at that point.

For tonight I'm popping the cork on one of these, clean and crisp with a nutty fruitish aftertaste 9%  and yummy

Had a couple Sam Smiths Oatmeal Stouts for Thanksgiving, This and Nut Brown Ale are two of my Favs.

Taking a night off from hitting the skateparks... so Kahlùa straight up, no ice.

Always drink it during the Holiday Season either by itself or a ton of it in egg nog.

Next?

MacTarnahan's 2009 Goose Bump Imperial Coffee Stout 9% ABV. Not a bad try by MacTarnahan's. A lot better than I expected especially for a $3.50 beer. I don't drink coffee but I've loved the couple of different coffee beers I've tried lately. Last night I had 2 2009 Lagunitas Cappuccino Stouts (9.26% ABV) which were awesome.
