hy another tread  with old cal look ghia  ,i hope you like this one he was built by doug mische in the mid of 70's doug was DKP II  member at that time and work at AUTO HAUS shop , the ghia was an 68/69 painted in oriole yellow , the chrome trim were painted in balck , and the bumpers were removed to add t bars  Cool (very cool on a ghia) , inside the car we found an complete set of VDO gauges , DDS shifter , and formuling france steering wheels , the engine was an 2L with 48 IDAs on DDS manifold mounted on headflow performance heads , distributor was an 010 bosch , and S&S exhaust , the car sitting on a set of riviera wheels that doug swapped later for fuschs wheels ,
that car has the good stance for a ghia cal look  Shocked i like it  Cool
shubee , sarge  and scott do you remember this one  Huh

I  Remember the car very well Of corse when you worked for Auto Haus You get use to Seeing just about Everything VW Customers coming in with there rides  showing off things they did to there cars

heres a Picture Of my 69 Ghia I had this car when I worked at Auto Haus in Pomona Picture was taken at Bug In 13 I am in the Top Picture in the Yellow Shirt back when I was a Heavy Weight!! LMAO Grin Grin Grin

I have more pictures but there old and taken with a Kodak instamatic camera color is not real good

Oh my God!  I haven't seen these pics in years.

I loved that car.  It was stolen and stripped and burned.  When it was stolen, it had a 84x90.5 motor with 44 x 37.5 spread-port heads and a Engle 130 cam.  It had Porsche 911 gauges, Recaro LS seats, Porsche allolys 14x5.5 in front, and 15x7 in the back.  I ran 185/70's in the rear and I had to grind the fenders to make them clear.  They cleared by about 3mm!

I still miss that car and it's been gone 25 years.  It had an original DKP hood badge on it and my FASRNU plates when it was stolen.
