bottom picture looks more like mine Grin Grin Grin

Alex has started the body work and I've located a NOS rear fender for the drivers side which should be an easy fix.

He found a bullet hole in the sill when he was grinding back the paint to inspect the sill  so its gotsome history Shocked

oh and it was black when it came from the factory so the final colour's sorted. Roll Eyes

I resto'd this early Ghia about 6 years ago. It was in the Cal Look style with the exception of the motor, finances at the time meant it had to run with a detailed early style 36hp motor. Oh well!!!

It was a 59 that had been imported in from South Africa, which is why I ran S.A Sprintstars on it for a whille. It got featured in Volksworld not long after I had finished it, then a growing family and house move meant it had to go.

Sold it about 4 years ago and bought the Oval. Lowlights rock!!!!!!

I remember it - very similar to my '71 Ghia which I had around the same time. In fact, you came over to Half A Brain a couple of times I think!
