Hi,
I'm new here at the Lounge and spend some time with reading all that interesting stuff. I really enjoy all that historical background  Cool
Now I hope that I can learn something about a special steering wheel.
I'm from germany and found it on a swap meet. It should be made by petri and sold as original vw accessory in the early 70`s.
May somebody has an ad with it?
(I hope the attached pic works)

Cheers Tobi

Very cool steering wheels. That looks like a later one. I have the early model on my '67. Somewhere, there is a steering wheel thread on this site... showing many of our choices.

nice wheel tobias  Grin  here`s an add showing the wheel, i`m afraid i don`t know any more about them. the spline diameter in mine is 21mm, i`m not sure if there was an 18mm spline version available for post 74 cars. i`d be interested to hear what size the splines are on your wheel

Hey Barry,

I had no picture available, so I took yours.  Grin
Thanks a lot for this ad! I'm curious about more info or hints.

It seems to be rare, even in europe.
