Most of the early 911 guys use Harvey Weidman to refinish Fuchs as he is slightly more accurate on his finishes than Al Reed.  Al has a great reputation and does a tremendous amount of polishing, but the guys who want a 100% accurate restoration go to Harvey.  He did my deep 6"s and made my 7R's for me.

Harvey Weidman
530-534-7903
1675 Wyandotte Ave
Oroville, CA 95966

As a side point, Harvey used to run with some shady characters known by the nick-name of Sarge and Deano.   Smiley

Some of the anodize jobs I've seen look too flat?  I like the look of the 4-1/2" above, and the pic Dave posted.  They should have a bit of a "sheen".

I don't whether these pics. wil be of any help  Embarrassed , but hey it's worth a go.... Grin

As far as I know, they feature the original factory finish (what's left of it), bar the black bits which have been blown in to tidy them up a little- can't remember the part number, but they are the flat late six with the early centre bore hole for a three prong centre cap, date stamped 9/73 from memory  Smiley
