I was planning on racing, but time and piss poor weather in Bournemouth has meant the car isn't quite ready.

Just going to get ready for Drag day now.

Been watching weather and its saying rain Saturday and Sunday at shakey.

Oh crap, I completely forgot about that! I'm working on the wife's T25 at the moment if the weather is ok and the race car if not - can't fit the high top into the garage... been focussing so much on the T25 I've not taken any notice of race dates except the Cal Look drag day as it's the week before her deadline so that may well be the shakedown weekend!

we went on monday to race in the gamblers bracket, track was super ,bit of drizzle mid morning held things up for a bit but we did acheck out pass NEW PB on this engine 14 .72 with a 1.9 60ft.Qualified 4th with a 14.86 on a 14 .70 dial in with a slow 2nd shift.First round had a 10sec pop from gasser circus ,some one we know, won with a backed off 14.88 cos she nailed him to the tree with a .033 reaction time.nice one Holly.next round would have been a 9sec camaro for a bye into the final(we have beaten him before) but the rain came .still doubled gambler entry £££s and had a good day .NEXT CAL LOOK DAY  cant wait.

 Cool
After 18 months to two years off for Greg (black 666 car) Steve (green oval) and Dave Dinning it was wheels up fun in the sun! A PB for Steve on his first run (12.32 I think) and a very close to PB for Greg (11.84) again first run. Dave went straight back into the 10's on his first run with a slipping clutch 10.9 then a slightly better 10.7 on his second pass after some adjustments but still some slip so more to come next time out but great to see these guys back out and gettin' the buzz back!! Pascal went 12.1 as a PB, again on his first run, in his newly painted hightop with new wasp exhaust and MEGAphone!! Shocked Phil Jarvis in the Firebus ran some 13's but kept boggin' on the line or missing 2nd gear or both Roll Eyes but is slowly getting to grips with his combo and should be snapping at Pascal's heals at some point this year. Marc with the yellow bug smoked his slicks nicely in the burnout but was suffering from a misfire on track but not sure if a plug swap etc sorted this or not as I left that evening when the spanners were coming out......
All in all a good days racing on sunday apart from some delays due to V8 oil on the track but a good bit of inspiration for all of us after the winter....must get my Fiat sorted....
Looking forward to DragDay.....
