I'm having problems with my burner. When I get it sorted out I've got a few for you. The playlists are picked out.

No Problem John, take it easy. I have to buy a burner every 2 years and they are getting scarse overhere. Hate to burn records with computer. I wanna put some compression to it and equalize the stuff a little. If you need something from me, let me know.

I saw that on PBS years ago and bought it as soon as it was available on DVD. He fucking jams, especially on the second half, were he isn't so green and nervous and just plain gets down. I thought his fingers were gonna bleed. I think I'll put that in right now Smiley

Got "Handbuilt by Robots" yesterday, by Newton Faulkner. Nice acoustic album, nothing like what I normally listen to! His version of Teardrops by Massive Attack is very good!

I've got that...I think it is on VHS! I like Voodoo Chile from the first half. SRV is one of the few that can cover Jimi and not murder it.

And the best is at the end of the video. http://www.youtube.com/v/K5AuN-SkiiI

Just ordered up some Hubert Sumlin...Wake-Up call and Blues Guitar Boss. This after watching the DVD that came with the Kenny Wayne Shepard 10 Days Out CD. Hubert influenced Eric Clapton.

Well, Hubert showed up in the mail yesterday...played 'em both last night and really enjoyed them. If your into the blues at all, this guy is not to be missed. Jimmie Paige, Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan all give this guy the big thumbs up on Blues Guitar Boss! Cool Cool Cool

Finally managed to get the site for the re-union gig to load and submitted as many names as possible for the ticket ballot!

Tim, You got Tickets ?? Cool !!

Not yet unfortunately. You have to enter a ballot and have your name selected in order to buy tickets! Apparently the ballot website has had 20million hits in total, it just kept crashing, so lucky I got through.

Should hear soon if I was successful!

Cool vid here -

I've got a great country CD I've been listening to this week - it's something of a spoof but is absolutely brilliant! It's by Howling Willie C**t and is called World Of Filth - never before has an album title been more apt... Sick, twisted genius! Grin
