IDA Replica throttle bodies.

Hi,

Does anyone know where to purchase the IDA replica throttle bodies with internal injectors? I have seen them on a GT40 rep and would love some for a project engine. I heard CB might be distributing them but cant find much info anywhere. Anyone already using a set?

Thanks for the link, I have already enquired but they are actually IDA pattern throttle bodies like Jenveys not the replica type.

Dynaformance might be the ones your looking for (formally dynatek).

I can't remember were or how, but I seem to relate these as being produced by Webcon UK. I may have gleaned it up at ASI Birmingham or a similar trade show, given time, I will brows some relevant trade contacts, Good luck with it.

Hi Spanners,

I've been in touch with the UK distributor and they are rather expensive at £790.00 per throttle body which makes the idea very pricey but cool none the less. I don't think there will be much interest in selling them in the VW world if i'm honest due to the cost.

Thanks for that John, cheered me up, I'm not quite senile yet then!!  funds won't allow them for me either, and yes they are gorgeous,  shame is I'm needing to find more power and have to go up on carbs, not a Turbo motor, probably Dell 48 from 45,  many circuit guys are going back to carbs with great results, just using good ignition management.
