Oh..... Er...... About that Rob..... We don't want to give it back!  Haha.

We'll aim to get it polished etc next week.....(I'm away from Tues until Sunday) but I've left the diary empty to try and get the 1966 Mustang we've got in painted too..... So, I'd say it'll be ready during the week starting Monday 6th...

Let me know how you want to play it..... I know you have a lot on!  We're happy to deliver it home, but we'll need some parts like door catches/ etc etc......

I'll bring catches and everything with me .

Cheers , Rob

The body is back from Custom Motor Bodies ( Jick's paintshop ) , well actually its been back a few weeks but I've been a bit busy to post pics up .

To say I'm pleased is an understatement . The lads at CMB have done a great job and I can't thank Jick enough .

Now all the parts I've got to go back on don't seem good enough ! Aiming for volksworld show 2016 .

Cheers , Rob

Waiting for axles then the chassis is rolling . Apart from the headliner the body is ready to go back on .

Damn.... I've been so caught up with work that I haven't even seen these photos!

It's great to see it coming together!

Will it be at Volksworld? We'll be there with the Kid Dean Squareback.... Although it's gonna be a stress!   It's not painted yet, still loads to do!

Hope all's well!

Finally an update !

My good friend Mazo came over and helped me fit the headliner the other day , and pop the windows in .

Headliner isn't perfect , but I'm happy with it !

Also got my home made weber windows back from Jick , who has painted them to match the body . Amazing what you can do with an old stainless steel serving tray and some Riv-Nuts !

I'm rather pleased with that . I think the 13s work well , they are on spacers at the minute , so I'm having an inch taken from the inside so they'll clear the dropped spindles without spacers .
