So....   Lots going on right now!

My wife Tammy and I rent out industrial units,  one of them, CMB (car motor bodies) has been a tenant of ours for about 15 years but, and this is the shortened version, the old boy owner is having to pack in, and without boring you all with the ins and outs of it, we're taking it on.
The guys there do great work.... I did all the bodywork & prep on my VW and the Mustang and they laid on the topcoats..... We'll be looking to expand their horizons a little... And it needs a fresh outlook and rebranding, but there's a core of great customers & contracts. hence keeping it as CMB,  but altering it slightly.

Here's a reminder of some finished paintwork...

And what's going to be going in soon for the Custom Motor Bodies treatment....
The Kid-Dean squareback.
Many Thanks Russell!   Can't wait to get into it... Seems like a simple job to get it looking it's best once more..

We're in West Heath, South Birmingham,  we'll be taking over in a few weeks.... I'll keep you posted, maybe in the summer we'll have some open evening type do's....

Thanks all...... Jick

Also, due to other developments I now know what to do with the super-solid and pretty damn straight 66 bus that Zach sold me!
I've been getting on it over the last week, welding up the bullet holes etc, picked up the cab floor repair pieces today at Dubfreeze, so I'm working hard getting it prepped for paint ASAP.
I think you'll all dig it when you see where I'm headed with it!

More progress shots coming tomorrow...

Looks so much better with that huge hole closed up! I was planning on doing that myself but had far too much on my plate.

Really looking forward to the finished product!

I've always liked that chopped Squareback that Kid Dean did. I didn't know it went to the UK!

A few snapshots of what's going down at CMB.....

We've just painted an old Escort van for a customer...
It's had a very light rub with 2000 & a quick polish......

Another gratuitous shot of the Mustang......

Robs 67 project is well underway....

Getting it back to clean/shiny metal and etch priming as we go....
Weather is dreadful at the moment and we don't want it laying around bare...

New arrival this afternoon!

23 window Samba my good friend Sam has been restoring over the last 6 months or so for a customer..... Most of the metalwork is done, he's just had it Sodablasted and primed..... He'll do all the filler & prep work and we'll paint it....
