48 IDA Auxiliary Venturi Stuck?

So I'm taking my (trying to) Spanish IDA's apart for a general cleaning and inspection and it seems the auxiliary venturis are stuck? These carburetors were new when I got them and have not been modified in any way except for the third progression hole. I took the carb tops off, accelerator pump jets out and when I try to pull the aux. venturis out they slide up a little but get hung up / stop on something. I have seen people drill out the brass plug on the side and install an allen head set screw but this has not been done on these carbs. I think there is a spring on the side of the auxiliary venture but I can't see down the small square slot. I tried to put a tiny screwdriver down the slot to move the spring but that didn't help. I could pull on it harder but I don't want to damage anything. Is there an easy way to get these out that I can't think of?
Any help would be cool. Thanks!

As long as the squirters are out you can take a small wooden dowel and tap the auxiliary out from the bottom with the butterflies open.

Ended up getting them out.....Just had to pull on them a bit harder. They were just very tight in there bores.
Thanks
