I'm building a 2919cc EFI motor for the street.

I want to get a custom exhaust made.

It will use two 2.5" muffler boxes in the style of a twin quiet pack.

Has anyone had something similar made? Pictures please!

Cheers, Nick

I've seen a few. I believe the Lauffer's Devils Hot Rod cabrio used a system like that.

I remember seeing a large tubed (2" or bigger) dual quiet pack muffler setup on Jeff Denham's street car that he used to demo the first 4" bore engines that he was building. He was later selling one of the dual qp muffler set ups he built and used for it. I e-mailed him about buying it but since it was for a large flange header it wouldn't work with the smaller header on my engine. I wish I would have bought it because I could probably use it now somehow....So maybe contact Jeff Denham.

Yep, I've seen that one.
Got a picture saved, I will post it later.
It was for angleflow heads.

It has round Magnaflow mufflers.

I'm using oval Dynatech split-flow race mufflers in 2.5".

Hi Nick,

some years ago I made my own 2.5" Dual Glasspack mufflers. I used it for a while with a 1.75" header on an 2176cc engine and then tried it on my current 2789cc oxyboxer, first with a 2" header and soon after with a CSP/JPM WASP Stage 2 header. I think it looked very good and was not very restricted BUT it was extremely loud so I changed it in favour of a WASP Stage 2 muffler which is obviously even less restrictive and a lot quieter.

Hi Tobi

Very nice  Grin

I was looking at the JPM stage 2 but I'm going to get one custom made.

My engine builder has recommended someone.

I ran a 3" magnaflow turbo muffler on my 2276 and I want something with less noise and a deeper note.

Cheers, Nick

Tobi - Even though that dual glass pack muffler you made was loud it looks great! I think someone needs to make a large bore dual quiet pack muffler set up and sell them! If they are made properly like yours they look and fit the best In my opinion.
