Just wanted to post a link to Allen's runs at the March Meet a few weeks ago.  This car sure has come a long way since he bought it. Watching an air cooled VW put the hurt on a big old V8 is why we fell in love with them in the first place.  Congratulations Allen.

P.S.  I love the part, in the beginning where he talks about the "little bug", at 2500cc, taking on the Camaro with a 505CID BIG BLOCK.  Where's Buddy Hackett?

I enjoyed watching him race that weekend. As well as the other VW's, but especially Allen's since it's a white 67 ;-)
