Just wondered what peoples opinions were on the pin-striping? Early cal look or to much?

I remember when cal look cars had it. Here is a pic of my brothers car in 1980, it was BMW gray with maroon pin striping, car was dechromed also. I think it looked good....

Is that it? Let's see more of the pin striping.

I think pin striping does fit with cal look style, tho if you go over the top with it it can make your car look a bit more retro cal than cal look.

Here's some more pics, not the best but all I have to hand right now! I have the same style around the headlights at the front.

I like it... but itīs more important that you like it I like it a lot, its something different! I just don't want it to deter the car from the cal look

It has to somehow fit cal look to be cal look as it is a specific spec, after all. The bling aspect to pin striping goes with the chrome bits like the US spec bumpers and the finger plates on the door handles, which makes sense visually. Either stripped down or accessorized, you gotta make a choice. Looks good!

I like the curve underneath the door handle, very cool.
Best thing about pinstriping (to me) is watching someone doing the painting. Such an amazing skill to have!
